OSK SALES GALLERY

CONCEPTUAL PROPOSAL

MONUMENTAL-BOHEMIAN GALLERY

Located within a face-pacing urbanism, we re-conceptualize a sales gallery and turn it into a Monumental-Bohemian Gallery interlocking polished and rough textures with a rustic tonality over an open-plan. The idea was to rejuvenate some of the contextual forces into the interior that would enrich the experience within with a hint of rustic modernity.

Upon granting the layout into this space, we designed a modern format based on the original imprint of the space where it would be built, while injecting a main feature of the local map upon the wall facing the entrance. Morphologically the gallery reveals a marked industrial imprint through icons in its design. A chromed column that was abstractly treated to mimic the art-deco ornamentation, a monotonous approach that was accented by rustic brown leathers, and rough textures extended from the floor to bulkhead. Neon strips are embedded beneath the map that elevates the sleekness of the overall feature; a synthesis between rough, matte, and polished surfaces.
