Architecturally trained in Australia, Joe founded award winning design firm, Designtone after spending more than a decade working at senior level management for international and award winning interior design firms. After instrumentally propelled his previous company to be recognized as one of the Top 20 Interior Design firm in the world, Joe realized it was time to set his personal goals and established Designtone to seek further creative freedom and to create more sense in space-making. He strongly beliefs that designer should not have a specific design style and be like a ‘chameleon’, adapt and change according to design needs. His passion in interior design has motivated him to pursue different challenges and genre of design. This passion has also mooted him to spend time besides his practice to actively contribute to the interior design academic fraternity where he lectures extensively in design at various colleges and universities in the country. He has also previously served as an industrial advisory member for interior design academic syllabus.
